The Architechs have made an epic comeback this summer with “The “21 Years” EP featuring soulful UK vocalist Crystxl King on white label.
Platinum selling producers ‘The Architechs’ consisting of talented brothers Architechs founder, Ashley (Ash Architechs), and Paul (Dj Tre Lowe) took the UK Garage music scene by storm in the late 90’s with the success of their singles “Body Groove” and “Show Me The Money”; two highly rated garage anthems of the UKG movement due to their significant commercial successes.
This family duo rose to international acclaim in 1998 when they dropped their garage remix to Brandy and Monica’s “The Boy is Mine”. The bootleg had mass appeal on the underground scene selling over 40,000 copies.
In the years to follow, The Architechs were in popular demand as producers and widely sought after for a plethora of remixes, which they created for chart topping artists across the globe including Usher, Justin Timberlake, Gabrielle, N’Sync, All Saints, Mariah Carey, Faithless and Garbage to name a few.
Alongside this, these two UK brothers also worked on their own individual careers producing Andra Dj’ing around the world.
Fast forward 21 years and Architechs, now just the original founding member Ash Architechs, is making a much-anticipated comeback to the music scene in 2019 with ‘The “21 Years” EP’ featuring the soulful vocals of UK singer/songwriter Crystxl King.
Over the years, Crystxl King perfected her craft on the live circuit with an applaudable record of performances. Her many live appearances include performing on stages alongside the likes of Omar, Ed Sheeran, Dru Hill and Rnb smoothie Joe Thomas, alongside having been a support act for De La Soul at London’s Jazz Café.
‘The “21Years “EP by Architechs is a 3 track E.P, to mark over 21 years since they hit the uk garage scene, and features Trinidad’s number one soca artist, Machel Montano, who features alongside crystxl King on the single “Wine Back “due for release in the Autumn of 2019.
Ashley has decided to release the first track wine back from the E.P with proceeds of each sale going towards Paul ‘BARON’ Cartwright’s rehabilitation fund after he fell 80 foot and broke 28 bones.
