DnD 5E Haungharassk Monster

All zoologists, of every size and shape! You are now in my spellbook. Thank you for clicking on the 15th episode. This one is going to be a good one. I have many great ideas about this topic. These ideas are so exciting that I am excited to share with you. We’ll be looking at the DnD5E Haungharassk Monster today. It is located in the deep dungeon, which the mad mage has pumped so much. This creature is cr:0 (10xp), and it is very strange. I’ll explain why in a bit. It will give you 10 experience points for defeating it. Let’s now take a closer look at these stats.

Stats

This is why it’s a massive beast, believe it or not. It is massive, that’s for sure. It’s not quite huge, but it is still very large and unaligned. It’s intra, as it is described in the flavour text. The description says that the creature is as big as an elephant, and it has a shell with a gold-encrusted coating. That’s pretty cool. Although it has an AC rating of 6, this is quite low. However, if you take a look at the hit points, that’s not a typo. This thing has 52 hit point determined by rolling 7d12 plus a 7. Although it has a speed of 10 feet and climb speed of 10, its speed is a bit disappointing.

  • Type: Big Beast, Unaligned
  • AC: 6
  • HP: 52(7D12+7)
  • SPEED 10FT Climb 10ft

Take a look at the stats. Some of you may be able to see that there is not much going on. Although it is not strong or dexterous, and has some bones, the structure of this animal is not bad. However, its intelligence leaves much to be desired. Its charisma and wisdom are lacking.

  • STR: 8(-1)
  • DEX: 10(+0)
  • CON: 12(+1)
  • INT: 1(-5)
  • WIS: 7(-2)
  • CHA: 3(-4)

Its senses are similar to man’s…passive perceptual of 8. This creature has the vulnerability. A pound salts on the skin of a snail can cause 1d6 damage. This is a small amount, but it’s not really that significant. This vulnerability is not really a vulnerability, at least not for legitimate vulnerabilities. But it doesn’t matter.

Also superior climbing – It can climb up to difficult heights including upside down ceilings without having to pass a ability test.

This is very cool. The creature cannot attack, so what would you do? I have so many ideas. For example, I can picture a mischievous or twisted druid casting a reduction on the creature. Make him look just like normal escargot, and then he will ingest it as soon as the noble threatens his forest. The noble then explodes, filling the room with gore and blood. He walks off without concentrating on his spell. This would also be hilarious if you have the same idea of blocking entrances and exits.

Let’s take, for example, a party that has a druid in the crowd. He looks shabby. All of those meetings were lost. He sprints through the doorway, throws a smaller Haungharassk towards the threshold, and then stops trying to concentrate. It just explodes.

This is a great idea. It means that if the party hits druid enough, he loses his constitution. I think these snails will explode in the druid’s pocket, and it is going to be funny.

Conclusion

Let me know what you think of them. Imagine walking into a cave with Haungharassk hanging from the ceiling. The party doesn’t know what this is and they will cast an earth tremor, shatter or rain on it. I find that hilarious.

Let me know how you would fold into your games. I love to hear from you. I’d love to hear from you if there are any comments or questions. I wish you all a wonderful day, and thank you for your research.

The Tarrasque is the most powerful creature in the current edition of Dungeons & Dragons and it represents the ultimate challenge for many players.20-May-2018

The Haungharassk is a beast you can Polymorph into, but you would be just a Haungharassk as defined in the monster listing. The one in the dungeon has been augmented by magic to have those extra features. Polymorph just allows for the generic versions, not the special ones found in some modules/adventures.25-Mar-2019

The Tarrasque

– 1 Shrieker. While we’ve seen many weak and frankly unthreatening monsters on this list, few compare to the shrieker.
– 2 Awakened Shrub.
– 3 Crawling Claw.
– 4 Lemure.
– 5 Homunculus.
– 6 Giant Fire Beetle.
– 7 Myconid Sprout.
– 8 Kobold.
